Class A EVP's

audio_clip_5-2.mp3

Class A EVP's are loud and distinct. If multiple recording devices are present, they will probably be caught on more than one. The EVP should not require headphones or audio processing to bring it out. The voice is easily distinguished and the words are clear leaving little doubt as to what they are saying.

Class B EVP's

recording_3_clip_1.mp3

Class B EVP's are less distinct than Class A's. THe may require the use of headphones and minimal audio processing. They are unlikely to be heard on more than one recorder. THe voice should still be distinct, and the words should be clear enough that, after discussion, a group can come to a fairly certain consensus on what is being said. This is the most common type of credible EVP.

Class C EVP's

class_C_whisper.mp3

These EVP's are very faint. The will require extensive audio processing to bring them out. The voice is barely distinguishable and the words are barely discernable at all. It will likely be difficult to come to a group consensus on what is bein said. These EVP's have little to no credibility as evidence, but they can still be interesting to listen to.

class_C_whisper.mp3
Male Whisper15 viewsThis CLass C comes from an LPI investigation. The voice is plain and distinct, and appears to come from behind the voice of the client who is speaking at the beginning of the clip. LPI has not been able to make out the words. Any Ideas?
strange_mechanical_sound.mp3
Strange Mechanical Sound7 viewsThis was caught at an impromptu investigation. The voice is the voice of an actual young girl who was present. The sound we are interested in is the stange mechenical sound that no one seems to react to. During initial analysis, LPI almost discarded this sound. However, the client happened to hear it and reported that this is not a sound they normally hear in the house
audio_clip_4-2.mp3
"Just Leave"19 viewsCaught during one of LPI's Investigations. This is a low end Class B EVP; it required more processing than normal for a class B.
