K-Seven is getting an upgrade! We are so excited about the new additions to our Kamp, including roadways, waterlines, fields, and more! There is SO MUCH to look forward to as we look toward an even safer and more exciting summer, and we want to make sure you stay ‘in the loop!’
The K-Seven facility renovations are underway and we are nearly 50% funded! We are so excited to be updating the weight room and Dining hall for Summer 2020, and we would love to keep you up-to-date on what’s been happening here at Kanakuk during this process.
We caught up with Keith Chancey out at K-Seven to hear how the K-Seven Dining Hall and Sports Field rebuilds are going. Projects are under way, and we are couldn’t be more excited!
We are so excited for 2020 at Kanakuk K-Seven. After rebuilding the girls side of Kamp with new lodges for 2019, we are so thankful to carry that momentum into 2020 as we continue to completely update and reimagine the facilities of K-Seven. It is only because of your generosity and support that Kampers and Staff will be able to eat in a fully rebuilt dining hall and new in-Kamp sports fields.
The 2019 Kamping season has begun here at Kanakuk, and that means the girls at K-Seven have been ushered into our brand new girls lodges. Wow, after 25 years the teepees have been upgraded on the girls side of K-Seven!
We have the roofing complete on each of the three new lodges and have even begun painting on the exteriors. Doors, windows, and interior elements are now being placed.
Girl’s Lodges are well underway with roofing being completed and many interior items being placed. We are continuing to move forward toward our goal of a complete rebuild for boy’s lodges, the dining hall, and much more by summer 2020, but we need your continued partnership to make this a reality!
There are still funds to be raised for the full completion of the project by 2020. We thank you for your faithful support in our mission to equip next generation leaders!
